Can’t get Firefox to autofill user names & passwords on my iPad. Also, can’t enter addresses to be used later to autofill forms & not sure if it’s remembering new logins.

When I try to access my passwords I get a message that I must have a “device passcode enabled”. I don’t know what this means or where it’s located. (See image).

These features were working previously but I must have changed vital settings. When I search help I’m unable to follow the instructions because my display does not show the items mentioned.

Any help much appreciated.

I'm using Firefox for ios to access all social media rather than using their apps. Since FB changed the messanger to end to end encryption, I can't communicate with any of my friends using Firefox, can you please let me know why and how to fix it, everything was working fine until the above change took place.

My Firefox on iPhone (latest version) will pop up the sign in / password dialogue whenever I click an input field for text. It’s not detecting OTPs more than half the time, and even OTP dialogue boxes cause Firefox to try and open the Keychain and sign in, even if it’s not on the sign in page! I find this very concerning. Reinstalling Firefox doesn’t fix it and rebooting phone doesn’t fix it. Any ideas?

I would include a screen but it’s displaying personal information every time I click a text field.

When I’m on a website and I want to pay for something via PayPal it switches onto a new tab that’s blank. It won’t go to the PayPal website. Any thoughts please? Jeff

I really like this app. I always use it on desktop also but after a few last updates I noticed that battery usage of this app increased a lot and the percentage is very high. 1 hour screen time on youtube was 4% battery usage but on the firefox side it was 17 min / 11% battery usage. If you fix this It will be perfect for me. Here are the screenshots with different days. And I'm using sync feature and ublock addon. I always close the opened apps and I use deep sleep feature on my samsung device. And I forced to close the app. For now I stop using firefox for test purposes.

On my iPad when I tap on Menu Icon > History > Trash Icon > Everything, the tabs refresh/flash and then the order of the tabs change. For example,

Old tabs: 1 2 3 4 (active tab is 2) New tabs after clearing the history: 1 3 4 2 (active tab is now 3)

Is there a way to prevent this? I’d like to keep the original order of my tabs.

Hi. I have to sign in related problems.

I can't Sign in to my work planning website: tjeps.g4s.dk/ESS/. It works fine on Firefox for Windows but on Android I get a new Sign in formular every time i try to sign in. Works on Chrome for Android.

The mandatory Authenticator app in Denmark for all public services "MidID" is not supported on Firefox for Android. Works on Firefox for Windows. This is a huge problem if you wan't Danish users. Also works on Chrome for Android.

I wan't to leave the Google Chrome browser but I am kinda forced not to.

I cannot log-on to https//matrixfreedomplatform.info/#/affilliate. When I try I get a pop-up stating "you are successfully logged-on," but then the screen is covered with a milkey film and won't load. Any suggestions??

I haven't logged in for quite a while. When I tried to login today, the password was automatically added via the "Saved Passwords", and i was able to log in, although I recognized it as an old password, and It was different that what I currently show in my third party password manager.

When i tried the password from third party password manager, it was rejected.

I tried to change it in my Firefox password database. The odd thing during the process was that when Firefox automatically added the Firefox database stored password to the current password to be changed field, it added the latest password, the same one that is stored in my third party password manager, not the old password that it filled in on the login page.

I am using Samsung S23 with the latest One UI and Android 14. Samsung's built-in browser has a neat feature where you can open YouTube or Reddit links in the apps installed on the device instead of viewing them in the mobile version of the website in the browser. I assume that Firefox has the same functionality called "Open links in apps" in the settings, but I tried all the available options and neither YouTube or Reddit links are automatically opened in their respective apps, nor is there a button anywhere to force them to open in the apps. Am I doing or assuming something wrong, or is this a bug?

streaming websites taking too much time to open. Example - YouTube, ZEE5, YT music, JioCinema etc. I can login to Netflix and explore everything but I can't play video because of firefox's video player problem. Social media X's video is not auto playing. Usually I do use Max 10 tabs. My phone is at Android 14. I have a better internet so there's no net speed Problem.

iPad OS version Firefox 126.1 (41973) iOS 17.5.1. iPad is am 8th gen When trying to read/use a website, it auto refreshes and pops back to top. I keep mine in landscape mode, and when trying to have a page open many will just refresh.
