I am using firefox version 24.0 on ubuntu. I want to retrieve my saved passswords as I forgot them.how can i do that, i dont see password manager in my version

Note that Ubuntu 11.xx and later display window menus in the control bar at the top of the screen with the switch to the Unity window manager.
