I am getting the following message: The page you are trying to view cannot be shown because it uses an invalid or unsupported form of compression. it is for the www. me.com/mail/ What can I do?

Clear the cache and the cookies from sites that cause problems.

  • "Clear the Cache": Firefox > Preferences > Advanced > Network > Offline Storage (Cache): "Clear Now"
  • "Remove the Cookies" from sites causing problems: Firefox > Preferences > Privacy > Cookies: "Show Cookies"

You should update to the latest Firefox 3.5.17 version or to Firefox 3.6.16
Firefox 4.0 won't run on your PowerPC system.

Firefox 4 requires at least OS X 10.5 and an Intel Mac.
