Message filters not working with new TB install
I have read several threads about message filter problems, but haven't found anything like this. So, here goes... I'm a long time user of TB, close to 20 years, with Win7 and now Win10. Current TB version is 78.12.0 running on a Win10-64 home built computer. I connect via Verizon to AOL/Yahoo mail server(s). I choose to stick with my Verizon email address when they transferred their email service. Everything has been working seamlessly ever since, until about two weeks ago. Yahoo couldn't/wouldn't accept my password to access my email. No clear reason why. Struggled along and finally spent some money online for help from Verizon. The gentleman got my email working by establishing a "new" TB client in my name. Originally I was "rcrgs;" now I'm rcrgs@verizon.net (POP3). Got it all working except for the message filters which don't work with the new account. The directory structure has only one user profile with the same name as before the problem. The msgFilterRules.dat file is in the only Profile directory. In TB Tools -> Account -> Settings, both the original and now current accounts are listed. When selecting Tools -> Filters, both old and new accounts are listed at the top of the box. The actual filters appear under the old account for filtering the InBox on rcrgs (which is empty and unused) and the new account's filter box is blank. I can't figure out how to get the filters to work on the InBox associated with the now-current account. QUESTION: short of keying in the filters to the new account (there are a lot of them), is there any way of "transferring" them? Or, have I missed some key aspect of transferring my email activity from the old to the new accounts?
Hope this is clear, and apologize if it is not. Thanks in advance for time and attention to my problem. ...robert

Filters are stored in the msgFilterRules.dat file in each account subfolder of Mail or ImapMail in the profile folder, e.g. in Mail/pop.verizon.net or ImapMail/imap.aol.com. The files can be copied between account subfolders, while TB is closed. Help/Troubleshooting, Profile Folder, Open Folder, to open the profile folder.
