I changed my gmail password. Now I cannot sign into the my thunderbird account. However, I can sign in using my I phone.

In Thunderbird, is the gmail account a pop or imap account?
In the gmail Account Settings are you using Authentication Method: OAuth2 or Normal Password?
Did you delete the old password in Options/Security/Passwords/Saved Passwords, restart TB, and enter the new one when prompted?
