I have been using Firefox for years on laptop. I installed it on my Android phone, but I keep getting asked to Sign In when I want to use it, unlike the computer, and there is a five minute expiry code to put in. Why is this? Is it not possible to configure Firefox on Android without all this fussing around??

Hi Richard

You can still use Firefox for Android without signing up for a Firefox Account to use Firefox Sync.

While Firefox Sync is very useful to sync your bookmarks and passwords between your two copies of Firefox, Firefox for Android works perfectly well as a great web browser on your Android device without this.
