My Thundernotes will not open. The list is there, but none of the individual notes will open when I double click them.

I've been using the Thundernote feature for 10 years with no problem, and I have dozens of notes stored that I need to access. This week, my ThunderBird updated, and the appearance of my email program changed slightly. The ThunderNote button is still there, and when I click on it, it opens with a populated list of all my notes, but none of the individual notes will open. I'm freaking out, because I have dozens of notes there that I need. Please advise. rdecker100@comast.net

It appears you can recover the old notes by opening an xml file in the profile folder:

Consider moving to a more recently supported add-on such as XNote++.

This doesn't answer my question. Is Thundernote now an unsupported app and will no longer work? Further, I tried to install XNote++ and I keep getting an error message when trying to open it that says...

"The file does not have a program associated with it for performing this action. Please install a program, or if one is already installed, create an association in the default program's control panel".

I can't find anything in Thunderbird that allows me to do this. Please advise.

Thundernote hasn't been updated in 7 years, so I wouldn't be surprised if it doesn't work in current versions of TB.
