how is Thunderbird deinstalled?

Need to direct Thunderbird email to a different disk drive partition. Thus, need to deinstall, and install with email going to a different drive partition.

I don't think removing Thunderbird will help you in the slightest.

You need to adjust your profiles.ini to point at the new location.
