I need Inbox items to display separately in DATE sequence, completely disabling "threads" -- always disabling threads without having to disable on each message?

Previously, I was able to sort the email messages in my inbox by DATE, or alternatively, by Subject, or by Sender. Now, they appear NOT in date sequence, but mixed together with other related emails by "THREADS". It makes it very difficult to identify NEW emails and respond to them promptly, or for that matter, not miss them entirely.

I wish to sort by DATE, and sometimes sort on the other columns (e.g., Subject, or From columns), but in all cases, I do NOT want them to be linked by "thread". But, I do NOT want to have to disable the threads individually. I just want to turn "threads" off completely.

If you have a menu bar showing, click on 'View'. or no menu bar use 'Alt + V' or use the 'hamburger' icon ' ' - 'View'

Go to 'Sort by' check 'Date' 'Ascending or Descending' AND 'Unthreaded'

Work for you?

Thanks very much! The ['hamburger' icon ' ≡ ' - 'View' ] approach worked perfectly for me. Thank you!!
