Restart your router. Plug it out, wait for 10 seconds, plug it back in. It can be an issue if the router has been active for quite some time without a restart. Try cleaning up your Firefox or doing a reinstall of the browser, see if that works. Additionally, you could look into your plugins and installed applications to see if any of them are messing with your device. Let me know if this helps.

Thanks for the reply. Have carried out all of the actions above but to no avail. It may gave a lot to do with the download speed. Living semi rural, it is a pathetic 0.8mb and always has been. I have managed to redirect the page once since this problem started, but never had this problem before and no settings have been changed, so very odd. Cheers,anyway!

Oh ouch, unfortunate that you do not have access to a faster internet. I wouldn't be surprised if that were the main cause of the issue. If the page doesn't load fast enough, you can get either redirect error or load page error messages, because it assumes that you can't reach the page. Have you tried Opera or Chrome? Does the problem happen on any other browser?

I've had this problem for many months. Happens most on ebay.com and youtube.com. Cookies are enabled and no changes to those settings makes a difference.

This happens on the mobile FF browser, and does not happen when selecting "request desktop site."

This does not happen on other browsers like Chrome. Chrome mobile still works.

This still happens when I disable all add-ons while using FF mobile.

Youtube FF mobile has other restrictions / defects when using youtube mobile such as failure to scroll videos on the right side , and failure to scroll subscriptions on the left side.

ebay.com FF mobile will not work on ebay.com. It will allow the downloading of content from ebay, but will not accept anything typed in the search bar. It will immediately respond with;

Firefox has detected that the server is redirecting the request for this address in a way that will never complete. and state try turning on cookies, which does nothing.

Again Chrome does not have these problems.

Yes, no problem with Chrome. Again, if switching to desktop, no problem. Strange this problem has occurred out of nowhere. But, I can now get round it. Thanks guy's for your contributions can now use eBay again. Cheers!
