hi

FF lose all open and pinned tabs if I close the basic FF window first (for example, the private window or other window remains active)

Can anything be done about it? Manually re-creating all (more than few) pinned and lost tabs takes a really long time :(

Did you check "History -> Recently Closed Tabs/Windows" to see if you could recover this lost window?

Each Firefox window can have its own set of pinned tabs. To ensure that you keep the pinned tabs you need to use one of these to close Firefox if you are currently doing that by clicking the close X on the Firefox Title bar.

  • "3-bar" menu button -> Exit (Power button)
  • Windows: File -> Exit
  • Mac: Firefox -> Quit Firefox
