Having used Firefox happily for years on my MacBook (and also having purchased Firefox VPN) I absolutely detest Firefox for iOS. It is illogical, user unfriendly and totally non intuitive. It does things (as you describe) and is totally frustrating. It forces the user to read through pages of 'help' to perform tasks that should be simple and obvious. It takes three steps to perform a task that takes only one step in other browsers and it retains my browsing history even when I have set it to not do so. I don't want shortcuts AT ALL... I just want bookmarks that I choose to set and which I can immediately see when I touch the search bar (like Safari does). Too many developers working against each other to create a useless product.
