Videos longer than about 5 minutes start playing out of sync on YouTube. Tried disabling addons/plugins, did not work. I'm stumped, any ideas?

Greetings!

I've been using Firefox for years now and love it!

One small problem I've noticed within the past 1 to 2 months... On YouTube, videos longer than about 5 minutes will start playing noticeably out of sync. By the end of the video, it is obvious something is wrong. I've tried disabling addons/plugins, but have not had any luck. Is this a known issue? Will it be fixed in a future release? It's worth saying that I haven't changed anything significant in Firefox in the past several months, which is why I'm perplexed as to why this problem would suddenly appear.

Thanks for all of your help!
