Hello firefox-dev-team,

we want to deploy firefox in an enterprise environment and have the need to use handlers to open specific mimetypes with the help of specific applications by default for every user.

Therefore it would be great if this could be handled within the policies.json file.

This feature request has already been asked 6 months ago: -> https://support.mozilla.org/de/questions/1217309

Is this feature on the roadmap, maybe already implemented or do we have to find a workaround?

Sincerely gdl41158

It doesn't appear that this feature has made it into the Firefox policies yet. I've created a feature request for you (see issue 502) so that the people in charge of the policies can take a look.
