Save messages in Sent without attachments
HI i would like to how to configurate Thunderbird so that i can save automatically my messages in "sent" with the name but without the contents of the attachments. Exactly as if i had sent the message and then in "sent", use the "delete all attachments" for my message. I see the names but cannot click on them. It spares space on the disk. The method suggested in another forum may help you:
You can just use Filelink and send links to the attachment within the message instead of the actual file.
