My provider changed to pop3 port 995 incoming and port 465 outgoing. Now it no longer works. I went into the Thunderbird 28 beta and changed the ports
I have Thunderbird 28 beta. After changing the ports, I no longer receive mail and this is the error message going out:
Sending of message failed. The message could not be sent because the connection to SMTP server mail.3dcartstores.com timed out. Try again or contact your network administrator.
Passwords have not been changed and I have to login on the web

What are the exact instructions from your email provider?
