All of my messages in the sent folder went blank. I searched for solution on Google, and after I have done "folder repair", I've lost half of my sent messages. Some of these that are left, are OK, some not. Lucky for me, I had backup seven days old, but still I can't reach sent messages from Thunderbird. I'm thinking about moving to other mail client, because I'm afraid that is going to happen again. I don't understand how something of this could happen to such serious and world wide spread software.

HI minaqva,

Sometimes a problem with Thunderbird may be a result of malware installed on your computer, that you may not be aware of.

You can try these free programs to scan for malware, which work with your existing antivirus software:

Microsoft Security Essentials is a good permanent antivirus for Windows 7/Vista/XP if you don't already have one.
