I've selected "Clear History" from the Tools Menu in Firefox but now I want to recover that history. Is there a way to do it? I am using Firefox 9.0.1. I do not have Time Machine active.

If you use the Time Machine then see if you can locate a version of places.sqlite from before the delete time.

You can use this button to go to the Firefox profile folder:

  • Help > Troubleshooting Information > Profile Directory: Open Containing Folder

See this for more info about the places database.
