Close firefox, reopen and all tabs are blank. They are showing but all say "New tab" and are blank. I had 10 tabs to sites I needed when I closed. Now they all say "New tab"?

I closed firefox with 10 tabs open. When I reopen firefox, all 10 tabs show but they all say "New tab" and there is no site there and no site information.

you can find it in HISTORY tab, SHOW ALL HISTORY (for quickly press Ctrl+Shift+H)

if this happens often:

type in the address bar about:config

then press the button i'l be careful i promise

then type in the bar browser.startup.page then double click on it and change the value to 3

press OK, exit firefox and restart.

The next time you open Firefox, everything will be restored to the previous browsing state, 3 tabs or 4 tabs or....

thank you

This did not help. Not only do I not have the blank 10 tabs from the day before, now I don't even have the empty 10 tabs. It is back to one tab and it is totally blank. Now I am worse off than before. Also the show all history doesn't work because some of the tabs I had open were open for months as I was doing work on the subject matter. Is the solution to literally go through all these and find my tabs? That would take weeks.
