If you hold down the Shift key, that should start Firefox in Safe Mode. See Diagnose Firefox issues using Troubleshoot Mode.
After clicking on Continue in Safe Mode, does the problem still occur in Safe Mode? If not, you can uninstall or disable the extension. See Troubleshoot extensions, themes and hardware acceleration issues to solve common Firefox problems.
