I had my homepage set up with 24 sites and it's all disappeared. When I try and reset it I can't and the instructions you give on this aren't working. Help. Please?

I didn't even want to upgrade because I was happy. Then it just happened and I "went with it". Now I can't figure out how to get all of my homepage sites back and whenI click on add to top sites it doesn't help. I don't know what to do but I'm pretty agitated. Help. Please. Thank you.

First of all see if you can get back the window that had all those pages.

  • Use "Alt+S" (history menu) > click on "Restore recently used session",

then also on each choice offered there for "Restore recently closed Windows".

Having a home page of 24 sites or even 24 sites used in app-tabs seems excessive to me, but for something that important I would bookmark them as a group. You can right-click on a bookmark folder and choose "Open All in tabs".

It is easy to bookmark all of your tabs to a bookmark folder -- right click on a tab and choose "Bookmark All Tabs..." and you will then be asked for a folder name for those tabs. If you installed "Multiple Tab Handler" extension you would have additional options for working with bookmarks and could select which tabs to bookmark into a new folder.
