why does yahoo(if i join!)tell me to download a different firefox?
i was going to join yahoo.com for another e-mail provider, but it said(on bar at top) i need to download a firefox for yahoo. if this is so i'd rather join google ! Is google more of a staple (better equiped) for firefox?if so i'll go with a google account. I have an account with aol and never had any problems, smooth as can be. If yahoo sucks could you please warn me. thank you in advance

Either company should provide a free email address without the need for an additional download of Firefox.

Mozilla provides Yahoo with a version of Mozilla Firefox that is customized for Yahoo's users. You don't need either a Yahoo or Google account to use Firefox. You can continue to use your AOL account through Firefox.
but i need a different e-mail account (thru yahoo or google), Can i still join yahoo without the download or should i just go with google without the hassle. I already have firefox 3.6 and use it all the time.
