I got a new computer and am attempting to move my email from one computer to the other(both running Windows 10). I found the youtube video that shows me how to do this. The first time I did it it only moved a couple of my email folders. So I uninstalled Thunderbird from my new computer and did the whole procedure again. This time it moved all but 7 of my email folders. How do I get it to move the remaining 7 or how do I do it so that they will move all of them?

Did you try this procedure? Close TB on the old computer and copy the Thunderbird folder to a USB drive, or add the folder to a zip file and copy.

The location is: C:\Users\usernameold\AppData\Roaming\Thunderbird

On the new PC, delete the existing Thunderbird folder at:

C:\Users\usernamenew\AppData\Roaming\Thunderbird

while TB is closed. Then, copy the Thunderbird folder from the USB into

C:\Users\usernamenew\AppData\Roaming

Start TB. Do all the folders appear?

Thanks. I don't have a USB drive (on vacation) have been copying to/from One Drive. Can I do that or do I have to go get a USB drive for it to work?

You can use any intermediate medium, but to make sure you get all the files, I would add the Thunderbird folder to a zip archive or similar, then upload it to One Drive, download to the other computer, and extract the archive.

Had to buy a USB and use that, but it worked!! Thanks!
