ever since you updated Thunderbird it has been screeweed up. I can't even sign in, address book messed up. print function screwed up.
Thunderbird updated about a month ago. Ever since, I can't print using cntrl P, the address book is screwed up (addresses with repeat fields, won't let me delete a listing or edit a wrong listing) I can't even sign in to Thunderbird- won't let me in or answer a request for for the link to reset password. It doesn't admit I exist. Was working fine with W 10 up until then. If I just tell it to download a new version will it help? Will I lose my files and messages, addresses? Help! dmkupfer37

You can reinstall safely from http://getthunderbird.com/
No doubt some of your issues are caused by addons. You can test in safe mode https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/safe-mode
There is a print fix coming out in 45.1 soon.
