Should I misspell a word or want to change a word from singular to plural, after clicking the area for correction, the entire word or sentence turns blue for deletion. It can take up to 10 clicks to remove the blue area for correction. It is driving me crazy.

Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions (3-bar Menu button/Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem.

  • Switch to the DEFAULT theme: 3-bar Menu button/Tools > Add-ons > Appearance
  • Do NOT click the Reset button on the Safe Mode start window
