User of AOL mail; as of today all attempts at sending emails yield a 'message not sent' prompt but do show up as actually sent, so what happened?

OK - here goes: I still use AOL for my email and access it through Firefox, and have V44 installed. As of this afternoon, every attempt at sending an email yields a 'message not sent problem encountered' message, but the message IS actually sent.

I need to find why I am getting this anomalous 'not sent/problem encountered' message and make it stop.

That's it!

Having more than one version of a program may cause issues. You must remove the older programs. Then get the current full installer.
