When I open Firefox, it goes to full screen mode

I cannot change the full screen mode without ending the program though the task manager. When I open Firefox, the browser will not allow me to enter a search option, nor will it let me exit from the program...the "X" in the upper right hand corner is not accessible. Any thoughts?

If you do not keep this setting then try to delete the xulstore.json file in the Firefox profile folder.
