My PC runs with Windows Vista Service Pack 2, 32bit and I access my emails via BT Yahoo Mail. However when I opened my inbox today using Firefox v41.0, the layout of the page had changed and an advertisement item was at the top of my email inbox. I suspected that it might be a scam email containing malware, but was unable to delete it because there was no tick box present as usual. By hovering over the mouse over the message I was able to read the following information: //beap.gemini.yahoo.com/mbclk?; and also the site name - https//uk-mg42.mail.yahoo.com/launch?.partners+bt-1&. Further checks online confirmed that it was likely to contain malware and that it should not be opened. I want to remove it from my inbox and would like to receive advice how to do this safely.

I have changed my email account password, but the problem still exists so I shall now contact support at my email providers website to seek help in resolving the problem. Thanks for your advice.
