Viasat took control of my phone and internet. How do I erase them from my PC?

Hi:

Somehow Viasat decided they had my permission to take over my landline phone and internet from CenturyLink. It was a nightmare getting it switched back and they have never admitted that they did it. Every time I log onto my PC and go onto the internet, Viasat's Logo is there. I delete it and I am asked if I want to permanently delete it from my history and I choose "yes." Next time I log onto internet it's there again. How do I erase these people from my history completely?

You can check the connection settings.

  • Options/Preferences -> General -> Network: Connection -> Settings

If you do not need to use a proxy to connect to internet then try to select "No Proxy" if "Use the system proxy settings" or one of the others do not work properly.
