My default browser is DuckDuckgo via an addon in Firefox. When I want more information about a subject in which I have been reading about and use copy function ,e.g. LIMESCALE INHIBITOR and then put it in a search bar it is just showing INHIBITOR i.e.misses off the first word of anything I copy. When I go direct via DuckDuckgo it works perfectly. It used to work OK on DuckDuckgo via Firefox but now it doesn't

Isisombululo esikhethiwe

I found out what the problem is and I can work around it. When i set up a new Windows tab a Firefox Box comes up in the middle of the screen with DDG and it says search the web. If I put my copied words into this box it misses off the first word in the top search bar. However if I ignore the large search bar box and go straight to the search bar at the top it works.

My DDG search engine gets both words. I am using a search engine from the Mycroft Project. If you have no luck, you could try removing the add-on and installing the search engine from there. You could also try removing and reinstalling the add-on.
