When I click my Firefox bookmark to a webmail page that is only https, I get the "Secure connection not available" warning. If I refresh the page, the https login page appears. This happens only on the first click after starting Firefox. Thereafter, the https page always comes up. If I quit Firefox completely, restart, and click on the webmail bookmark, I get the warning page. If I once again refresh the page, I am directed to the https login page.

This phenomenon only happens on this particular webpage. Do I have a redirect bug? Malwarebytes and Knock Knock say no.

This can happen if the server send a location header that redirects for some reason to a http:// link. Firefox then upgrades the link to https:// and can reach the resulting page.

If you use a bookmark to access a specific page then instead navigate to this page starting with the main page or with the sign in page in case there is a problem with this bookmark.
