I want to be notified most times when a site wants to redirect. But from a few sites that I trust, I want to not have to click "Allow" each time I want to redirect to a new page/hyperlink. How do I make Firefox accept an "exception" to this rule?

This accessibility feature is all or nothing.

  • "3-bar" menu button > Options/Preferences > Advanced > General
    Accessibility : [ ] "Warn me when web sites try to redirect or reload the page"

The setting in "Options/Preferences > Advanced > General" is meant as an accessibility feature, as you can see by the label of that section, so that people with disabilities or people who use screen readers do not get confused and is not meant as a safety protection to stop redirecting.

I don't want to allow ALL sites to open directly, only CERTAIN sites. (Like only allowing certain sites to have pop-ups directly.)
