What platform do you want? On Android I recommend Aegis and Authenticator from F-Droid, both are open source, work perfectly and dont track you.
I highly advise against Microsoft or Google or any non-Foss OTP authenticator.
Mozilla recently started up a new "Ideas" site at https://connect.mozilla.org/. I think if you have time, it would be a good idea to post there to get into the current feedback stream.
