I recently tried to use the Offline Reader function (by clicking the "paper list" icon which appears in the URL menu after a webpage loads) during several plane journeys when I had no internet access Each time I switched a number of tabs, c. 19 of 73 open in total, to offline reader mode. Each time I waited until the page reloaded into the OLR format. When, after takeoff, I went to read them, some loaded only a blank screen. Others loaded into OLR again but then tried to refresh one or two minutes later, failing and showing the "please reload page" button. Others managed to retain OLR data until I had read and closed the tab - which was never a very long time (over 5m). After the first few times that the page failed to load I switched off mobile data in my phone settings but this didn't solve the issue. I tinkered with Dark mode etc and nothing helped. Other Help articles here are reporting that OLR mode has been removed as a function which I find odd. Any idea why this is occurring? Thanks in adv, Alex

Hi

The reading mode in Firefox for Android is not designed for offline use. I recomend that you use the Pocket app - you can share content from Firefox for Android to the app and it will store it for offline reading.
