Hi there,

I'm running Windows 10 in a corporate environment and I'm not able to select another browser for:

URL:MK Protocol URL:RES Protocol

I have tried to disabling the IE and set this protocol manually but it didn't work. I can't reinstall the OS. I also have tried through the "Associate a file type or protocol with a program" but I can't remove the IE or set those protocols for another program.

Is there any way to make this works?

Thank you, Cristiano Kubiaki

It seems that your question has just been answered here, and that it’s not possible to change the default browser for them - IE and Edge would be the ony ones.

These protocols seem to be rather old, not very common and therefor somewhat dangerous, so you may wonder why you need them.

Hi Tonners, I think you're right, I have posted in different blogs and Support Centers and the reply is almost the same.

Thanks a lot.
