when I go to gmail, I sign in with my name and password...in the also tried the other suggestions and they don't work either. So... I removed fire fox and reinstalled it and nothing has changed. FYI I can get onto gmail and see my mail via explorer.
when I go to gmail, I sign in with my name and password...in the heading it says: https://mail.google.com/mail/?shva=1 I see the word loading.... then I get the screen that says "this is taking longer than usual--ty reloading the page... Clear the cache and the cookies from sites that cause problems.
"Clear the Cache":
- Tools > Options > Advanced > Network > Offline Storage (Cache): "Clear Now"
"Remove Cookies" from sites causing problems:
- Tools > Options > Privacy > Cookies: "Show Cookies"
- Press F10 or tap the Alt key to bring up the "Menu Bar" temporarily if the Menu Bar is hidden.
- Use "Firefox > Options" instead of "Tools > Options" if the menu bar is hidden.
I tried all you suggested. nothing has changed.
I went back onto gmail from explorer... the address is the same only from explorer it ends in /?shva=1#
the pound sign is extra
I also rebooted after everything.
