Hakalo, I have a problem similar to yours, and have been trying for some days to correct the problem. To date, I have posted on 3 different forum/support sites including the Firefox support and have not had a workable solution.

Here is what I have found to be a solution of sorts although it is not really acceptable since it does not correct the problem. when I first load the Firefox browser I can not scroll using thew scroll wheel on the mouse. I can use the scroll bar on the right side of the screen. I can n0t do ctrl b and get my bookmarks. However if I click on Bookmarks in the Menu bar, I get something called Library which has to do with bookmarks but is incomplete. Another symptom of this problem is that if I try to type a URL into the Navigation toolbar I get addons window immediately. There are probably other problems associated with this but you see the problem.

My work around at this point is to load my homepage, use the scroll bar, and then load another tab using the bookmark toolbar. then use the scroll bar some more. this usually results in Firefox deciding to act normally and I don't have the problem again until I have to load Firefox again.

Hopes this at least gives some relief.

Hakalo, Here is another suggestion, and it is what I just did on my computer. First I went to the Firefox download page and downloaded Firefox version 3.6.17 to my desktop. Then I went into control panel (cp)(start, control panel, add remove programs) and removed firefox from my comp[uter. I then closed cp and went to the desktop and installed 3.6.17 Immediately all the ff problems I had, went away.

Actually when you download a program my computer puts it on the desktop because that is where I want it to be, your location might be different. You can check this in tools, options, general.l;
