When I was looking at the site and login credentials I noted there are three accounts listed:

@hotmail.com - When I log into Firefox using this account I am granted access to bookmarks and related credentials. @gmail.com - When I try to login using this account, a message is presented saying I need to log in using the main account. This makes sense as this is listed as a secondary account.

My main concern is the last account - when I try to login using those credentials, I need to go through an account set up - including providing my age. So is this an account I should be concerned with, or can it be safely ignored?

Best regards! Loralie

Thank you for the response Dropa,

It was definately a FireFox account, I just tried again to double-check as I was starting to question myself! I'm not certain if the last account - Proton Mail - had ever been set up as when I entered the email address it asked me to set a password, and then to enter my age. There was a message advised that you had to be 13, or older, to create the account. I just wanted to double-check to make sure there wasn't another way to check to see if there was an account under that login (already checked the dashboard or the gmail and hotmail accounts were listed).

As I mentioned, I am pretty certain the account creation process wasn't completed. I just wanted to make sure so I'm not leaving a security hole.

Best regards! Loralie

Hi Dropa,

Maybe I didn't explain myself properly - I was using the domain names to point out the different accounts. The individual email addresses themselves are fine and working without any issues.

Asking for your age is a standard procedure and is necessary for legal reasons (COPPA) and there is nothing to worry about.

Age verification for the Firefox account is required for COPPA compliance.
