Bought a new computer. All my toolbar bookmarks migrated across successfully. Sidebar symbol missing from the menu bar and I couldn't find where these Book Marks were at first. But then I right clicked on the menu bar, clicked on Manage Book Marks which opened a Library box and there they were. Does anyone know an easier way to access them please? Any tips gratefully received. Thanks, Bob

Hi Bob, the shortcut for the Bookmarks sidebar is Ctrl+B. And also:

(1) You can use the Customize panel to add the Sidebars button to your main toolbar. You also can try out the optional Bookmarks Menu button (). See:

Customize Firefox controls, buttons and toolbars

(2) You can show the Bookmarks Toolbar -- if you save your bookmarks there -- full time or on new tabs. See:

Bookmarks Toolbar - Display your favorite websites at the top of the Firefox window

(3) If you have a lot of screen space, you can show the classic menu bar (File, Edit, View, History, Bookmarks, Tools, Help) at the top. See:

Restore the Menu bar in Firefox

Hopefully one of those will suit your style.

The Library and the Home button are no longer present by default on the Navigation Toolbar, you need to drag them out of the Customize palette to the toolbar.

"Ctrl+B" is the keyboard shortcut to toggle the Bookmarks Sidebar. "Ctrl+Shift+B" is the keyboard shortcut to toggle the Bookmarks Toolbar. "Ctrl+Shift+O" is the keyboard shortcut to Open the Library.
