I don't want Firefox to store all my passwords from the past, for some sites where I change password a lot it keeps 4-5 versions of the same login with different passwords and dates. How to stop this madness?

Are that all recent logins or logins from longer ago created by an old Firefox version ?

Does Firefox offer these logins as a suggestion or have them available in "Fill Login" and "Fill Password" ?

I think that if the origin (protocol and hostname) and the username are the same then Firefox should update the password and not add a new login.
