How to restore bookmarks from a previously factory restored computer that used firefox as the default browser?

I was using Firefox as my default browser and my computer was unexpectedly restored to factory setting. Is it possible to restore my bookmarks?

Was this the kind of Windows refresh/restore that creates a folder named

C:\Windows.old

In that case, it probably contains a copy of your old settings.
