I'm trying to create a new personal account with an email. Let's say PERSONAL@gmail.com, but the Firefox login page says "Primary account email required for login". I have no idea which account PERSONAL@gmail.com is associated with. The only other account I use with Firefox syncis my work account. Let's say it's WORKACCT@work.com. The secondary email for that is NOT PERSONAL@gmail.com. How can I figure out what primary account PERSONAL@gmail.com is associated with? I just want to create a brand new account with PERSONAL@gmail.com.

Isisombulu esikhethiweyo

I have tried logging in directly, but no luck.

So I think I found a solution.

I logged into my WorkEmail and set my PersonalEmail as the secondary. Then I set my PersonalEmail as the Primary account, which switched my WorkEmail to the secondary account. I then deleted the WorkEmail account from the secondary so that my PersonalEmail was the only account.

Then I created a brand new account for my WorkEmail. Since it was all on the same Firefox Profile, it synced all the bookmarks etc.

To get a clean slate for my PersonalEmail, I typed in about:profiles into the address bar and created a brand new profile. I signed into Sync with my PersonalEmail, which brought in all the same bookmarks as before. As a safety measure, I backed everything up, and then deleted all of my bookmarks, history, etc. Now my Personal and Work accounts are 100% separated.

Any luck with a direct login?

In case of issues try to login to the Firefox Account via this website.
