I somehow managed to get the bookmarks permanently open and displayed in a vertical column on the left side of the screen. I accidentally closed it and cannot get it to display again. How do you manage to get the bookmark list permanently open and displayed again? Thank you.

You can toggle the Bookmarks sidebar on/off via "View > Sidebars > Bookmarks" or Ctrl+B
You can toggle the History sidebar on/off via "View > Sidebars > History" or Ctrl+H

Press the F10 key or tap the Alt key to bring up the "Menu Bar" temporarily if the menu bar is hidden.

Hello exoticdoc2, see if the next All-in-One Sidebar add-on it is useful for you, it is more than a sidebar bookmarks toolbar.

thank you

It was helpful as the control B works fine. However, I am confused as to the use of view>sidebar>bookmark as I also have noticed a distinct lack of functions at the top of the screen as are available on the standard AOL setup. There are a few options under the firefox tag in the upper left corner, but they are limited.

Thanks for the help. I have been looking for a substitute for AOL as their software is too full of bugs and glitches. I'm trying to find everything I used on AOL available under firefox, which generally avoids most of the problems.
