Hello ,

i have a big problem .

i sync my data with my sync account .

then becuase my firefox has problem , full removed .

Then i try setup my sync account for recovery my data from my account. but can not .

i have only username ( email ) and password my sync account .

Could you please help me ?

You need three things to connect to your Sync account.

  1. Username = email address you used when you first setup Sync
  2. Password for that account.
  3. Sync Key / Recovery Key

If you are missing any of those three things, you won't be able to recover your data from the Sync Server.

Did you backup the data in the Firefox Profile Folder?

If you did and have a copy of the key3.db file and the signons.sqlite file then you should be able to retrieve the sync key.

Your account name and password for Firefox Sync is the email address and password that you used to set up that account.

  • Account: email address and password - Sync Key: (26 chars;no hyphens)

You can find the sync password and the sync key in the password manager on the computer where you originally created that sync account (email).

Look for:

  • chrome://weave (Mozilla Services Password)
  • chrome://weave (Mozilla Services Encryption Passphrase)
