Since upgrading to Firefox 18.0 I am not able to forward mail from my Verizon email web client. I get a message saying "This message may have been deleted or moved to another folder. This initially started when I upgraded Firefox on a MacBook Pro running OSx Lion. In this case I am using a Dell Studio 1749 running Windows 7 Home premium. This morning i logged in to Verizon email on my Dell using Firefox v 15.0.1 The Verizon email client worked fine and would forward and send new mail. Upon upgrading the Dell to Firefox v 18.0. I can no longer send or forward mail using the Verizon client. If there is not a fix for this problem is there a way I can back up to v 15.0.1?

The Reset Firefox feature can fix many issues by restoring Firefox to its factory default state while saving your essential information. Note: This will cause you to lose any Extensions, Open websites, and some Preferences.

To Reset Firefox do the following:

  1. Go to Firefox > Help > Troubleshooting Information.
  2. Click the "Reset Firefox" button.
  3. Firefox will close and reset. After Firefox is done, it will show a window with the information that is imported. Click Finish.
  4. Firefox will open with all factory defaults applied.

Further information can be found in the Refresh Firefox - reset add-ons and settings article.

Thanks, That did correct the original problem which is a great help! By clicking the "Reset Firefox" button I am now able to send mail from the Verizon on line client.

Unfortunately, on opening the mail site I have now lost certain icons such as the "Compose" mail icon. Do you have any thoughts on restoring the icons?

Again, thanks for the solution.
