I can't get thunderbird on my iphone and would like it to automatically forward all incoming emails to and address that I can check on my apple devices.

What is keeping you from adding the address that Thunderbird checks to the email client on your iPhone? That seems like the simple solution. If you are set on the forward route, forwarding is best done at the email providers server. Go to your providers webmail page and look for that option.
