I'm using firefox on snapdragon 430 and adreno 505 gpu. Meanwhile chrome is working for these. I've tested both fennec and fenix.

Hi

What is the frame rate dropping to in both Fennec and Genic, and how is this comparing to chrome on your device?

Frame rate dropping to very low values like 10-15 . Scrolling is sticky, stuttering. Chrome is way more fluid and smooth ,it feels like 60fps. And there are many sites with such problems on Firefox .

For example take your own mozilla site we are on, mozilla support. Tapping on the uppermost right three line menu button opens extended menu and that is stuttering too. These three dot menu problem exists in many sites.

Also I'm testing each and every build of firefox for android. From version 59 or 55 to version 73. Yeah I've tested on fenix nightly version 73 too but there's no difference. Only thing improved in fenix is its speed. It loads pages quicker than fennec. And also so many about:config suggestions ,I've tried yet. No difference. Like i enabled multiprocess windows ,enabled webgpu , omtp etc but no difference. Surprisingly many heavy js sites are supersmooth on Firefox.!!
