How can I resolve issues with video streams from Facebook Workplace?

This issue doesn't happen in Chrome. When I stream video in Facebook Workplace, the video stops frequently and becomes poor quality at times. I have recommended performance settings enabled, using hardware acceleration.

I'm trying to troubleshoot a connection error and cannot find anything about 'SSL_ERROR_INSUFFICIENT_SECURITY_ALERT'? What is this trying to tell me exactly? Is there documentation or a debugging switch to elaborate this error, or is it really necessary to dig into the source code to find out about this? Even mozilla search and google comes up empty.

I'm running 115.12.0esr on Linux. I have another Linux system running 115.7.0esr that has no problem connecting to the same URL.

Hey all, Before I go to far, here... Firefox version 127.0.2 (64-bit) Windows 10 Version 10.0.19045 Build 19045 Extensions - Malwarebytes browser guard.

What I've done: Cleared cache, history, etc. etc. ran multiple system scans restart app restart windows

So how do I keep Firefox from opening pop-up for about:config? That's right, There are pop ups that firefox allow to open new tabs, and its the about:config page.

Also, every time I start typing out google in the address bar auto suggest fills in googleleadservices or something like that. I already went through all the same steps above and more. I originally thought it was just opening one of the last pages I went to, but if I've "cleared" everything as per the way firefox has it set up, why would it have any history of what the last page was?

David, here are two screen shots (ss) to clarify my issue with email and a third regarding another issue (see below).

Number one ss shows what I see when I go to Thunderbird. I am allowed to delete if I wish by first marking the email and then clicking delete. If, however, I wish to view the message, Number two ss appears. I cannot delete the message without going back to Number one ss as that option has now disappeared. This was no problem on my old computer.

The other issue is related to the above. I have over 250 emails without being able to access them (see Number three ss). On the left upper side is the number of emails I have, but only six old emails appear, something that is confirmed in the upper right frame. No matter what I do, I cannot access them.

I have been a long term Firefox user, but recently Firefox on Ubuntu seems to have more and more problems.

I have Firefox 127.0.2 (64-bit) on Ubuntu 22.04. I have 0 extensions or addons installed.

Another one: I cannot select the country code from the drop down list when entering phone number in Ryanair, so basically I can't buy flight tickets from there. Chromium Browser didn't work as well, but Safari did.

I recently bought a new laptop and didn't import Firefox to the new one. Now I can't access my passwords etc on Firefox because it asks my for my primary password. I have no idea what that might be. Does anyone know if there is any way to recover the passwords please?

I use fire fox as my default browser. It is still the default but now when I go to search the yahoo start page comes on. I cannot search with fire fox as this stupid yahoo home page over rides it. Please help!

Hi, got a problem for the last several days - on each visited site Firefox (my guess) is launching a pop up about add-ons for Ad Blocks tham I am using were updated with official national filters for Polish market.

This is super annoying and the pop-up jumps on almost every new site bieng visited (it is visible for ca. 5 seconds). Is there any way to stop it? How can I dissable this feature?

I am using Firefox Browser 127.0.2 (64-bit) on a PC.

Sometimes it happens that an input field on a page in an IFRAME cannot be clicked. The buttons work, but you can't enter anything in the text field.

Only when I press in the address bar and then in the text field, now I can enter text in the text field.

Cannot use the hours dropdown on Calendar Widget in Mozilla, when I click on the hours, the dropdown appears for half a second and then dissapears, so I cannot use it. Works fine with Edge and Chromium. OS Ubuntu 24.04. Tried private mode and disabling add-ons - only one I have is UBlock. When inspecting the console does not show any errors.

Sometime in the last few months, Firefox (Developer Edition) stopped allowing redirects and links to file://-protocol URLs. Is there a way to re-enable this for my personal browser, e.g. via about:config or the like?

I just got my PC back from the shop. It's the best LG Gram laptop they had with Windows 11, and it's 1-yr old. Much on it was corrupted and I'm having to reload many items, one being my Firefox. It wouldn't open up. I did the right-click on my mouse and hit the OPEN selection. Firefox still wouldn't open up. I reloaded Firefox hoping that it would correct whatever may be wrong. No, it still won't open up. I'm reaching you now via TOR. My TOR was also reinstalled, but it is able to open up. Can you think of what I may have done wrong? [I'm unable to check the option-email me when someone answers my thread {this email must be a thread}, but this will be fine.] Please note that I am so NOT tech-savvy, I don't even have any smart/mobile/cell phone. Just a plain old phone. (I should add I'm in my 70's, ill, and in a Nursing Home.) I looked through your troubleshooting sugggestions, but they are too fancy for me to understand. Unable to export Firefox bookmarks. When I go to 'Manage Bk Mks' it states 'no items' (See attached Print Screen) yet all my bookmarks show in the left hand pane.

Background (2024): Created my userChrome.css file, on my desktop, 4 or 5 years ago when I was using Windows 8.1. At best I am an experimenter with userChrome. Last year, due to another problem, I had to update to Windows 10. So far, so good. My userChrome file held through the update.

Fast forward: In May I had a hard drive crash (total DOA) and had to buy a new desktop (Dell) with Windows 11 (I almost regret that), 64-bit. Also using FireFox 127.0.2. After more than a month, most of my software and files are working again.

Current problem: My userChrome file is not working as it used to. I had it backed up to other places, so I know it is not the file. I am missing the “tabs bar”; the one with the FireFox icon at the far left, then (in my case) a Google box, and then the “+” for Tabs.

That bar is missing and I can not figure out why. I suspect something changed in Firefox. I do not see how Windows 11 (god forbid) would do anything like that.

I suspect that the “solid” black bar after the Bookmarks toolbar(s) may be involved.

My “colors” seem to be OK and the location of everything else is acceptable with the exception of the “Find in this page (Ctrl+F)”. The ‘magnifying glass is in the correct place on the second bar but the box to enter data is at the bottom. The box used to be just in front of the ‘magnifying glass’. Not as critical as the “tabs bar” but annoying.

Don't see how to attach my userChrome.css (as userChrome.txt). I can supply the file or post it.

Can anyone make a simple suggestion for a simple senior citizen?
