I cannot connect to Amazon site, says unusual payment activity, secure connection failed, and the name Stanford Health Care, that I have never heard of and have no connection to them. I need to have this corrected. Please reply. Rosalie Koire, roko8@att.net.

When using university computers, I log in to Firefox Sync so that I have access to my bookmarks and tabs from home. When I do, Firefox will ask to save passwords on my home computer and phone again, even though I had it disabled in the past. Is there a solution for this, other than disabling it manually every time?

My connected devices shows one of my Windows 11 laptops, but not the other, and it still shows the Windows 10 desktop which I replaced.

How do I add my  2nd Windows 11 laptop to the device list and then sync everything from the first laptop to the second?

My screen went black this morning and I couldn't get the screen to reappear. I turned the power off, then waited a minute or two before turning it back on. My usual screen with all the apps was gone and replaced by a generic "windows" screen. I had to re-enter all kinds of information and I'm finally able to see my bookmarks, but all of my documents and pictures stored on my computer are completely gone. Did Mozilla/Firefox perform an update? And if so, how do I get back to my personalized screen - and more importantly my stored documents and pictures?!!

After I've had a window open for between 5 minutes and half an hour, the address bar stops working. I need to open a new window in order for it to work again. I can click on the favorites on the homepage and those work but if I search or input an address into the address bar nothing happens.

A few years ago jscher2000 gave me wonderful instructions for how to create some of the features that were once easy for ordinary users like myself to control through an Extension called TabMixPlus. Apparently there was some big disagreement between the developer and Firefox and they completely disabled it. At any rate, I'm continually frustrated when I accidentally move a pinned tab to a new window while trying to move or resize Firefox. I would like to know how, in about:config, I can create a setting with which I can protect pinned tabs. Thanks.

When I try to print and use the "print to pdf" printer, the save button does nothing. I can print to my printer, but I cannot create pdf's. I am using Firefox 129.0 and Ubuntu 22.04.4 LTS

My microphone has recently stopped working on Firefox, and Firefox only.

It works in Chrome, Edge, and Opera.

I have tried reinstalling Firefox (and testing the mic with a clean install), reinstalling all of my audio drivers, and even changing the frequency of my Windows sound to a lower one. Nothing has worked.

My laptop is a Lenovo Slim Pro 9i (if it matters) and my microphone is an Intel Smart Array.

I have completely run out of ideas, so anything will help at this point.

I can't get any app from Google to stay open. It's a nightmare. I've restarted several times. Doesn't help. Everyother page is working.

Is this a bug in the latest version?

Is it still possible to sing into Lockwise on my iPhone? Have attempted using two different Firefox accounts without a completed connection. After entering password the Get Started page returns asking for login

For a number of months, I have not been able to update firefox to my Linux system. I download it and opened the downloaded file, opened various files, but nothing happens. I have tried using various methods to download and update it, but I continue to get a message that update is available. I'm currently using 121.0.1. I have a number of download files in my download folder, such as..."/home/jim/Downloads/firefox-128.0(1).tar.bz2" I tried to uninstall and reinstall "How to remove Mozilla Firefox from Ubuntu"

   sudo apt remove firefox.
   sudo rm -Rf /usr/bin/firefox.
   sudo rm -Rf /usr/loca/firefox.
   sudo snap remove firefox.

and then this "Install Firefox" First, add the Mozilla signing key $ sudo apt-key adv --keyserver keyserver.ubuntu.com --recv-keys 6DCF7707EBC211F. And then install the latest version of Firefox with this command: $ sudo apt install firefox. These commands seem to complete normally, but I continue to get "update available" messages. I give up. I've done everything I can think of. Help would be greatly appreaciated. Jim

If watching any video in full screen, upon restoring Firefox back to "normal view" the entire program changes its position on my monitor. In regular mode (IE; not full screen) the position of the program on the screen - flush with my top and bottom panels - but NOT full screen is unaffected when closing and re-opening Firefox. The change in screen position is only when going from full screen view to non-full screen mode. OS: Ubuntu MATE 22.04.4 LTS 64 bit Firefox Ver: 115.14.0 ESR 64bit

Pressing Alt in Firefox in Linux (Ubuntu/Kubuntu/Linux Mint 22.xx) brings up a top menu, which is hugely annoying as I'm always trying to to a window action if I'm pressing Alt.

The suggested solution is to go to about:config and change ui.key.menuAccessKeyFocuses to "false".

But this keeps reverting itself. (Between every other reboot?). Alt will again bring up this menu.

How can I permanently disable this shortcut?

I am trying to change my email preferences and the following is occuring: 1) from my account, I select Email Communications, which takes me to 2) https://basket.mozilla.org/fxa/?email=cswaim%40jcrl.net and that prompts me to sign in 3) after signing in, I am displayed https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/newsletter/recovery/ 4) I enter my email address and I am sent a link via email https://clicks.mozilla.org/f/a/8zrp86jZnVL2dfBjXU6Jvw~~/AAQRxQA~/***stuff deleted*** 5) this link takes em to step 2, and the loop continues.

I don't seem to be able to get all information to go to my primary email address, some goes to a secondary email, which is inactive.
