Firefox 4.0 for Slackware 13.37 and Adobe 11 install doesn't install

Download the file: install_flash_player_11_linux.i386.tar.gz

unziped it but there was no install package.

I copied the file libflashplayer.so into /usr/lib/firefox-4.0

This leave me with a question is flash a plugin, add-ons or what?
